Salad Ventures in < 30 Minutes [video]
Last week, I sat down with my friend Kishor from CrowdFundJunction to talk about Salad Ventures, and how we’re curating and supporting projects that will power the future of work.
Salad started as a play-to-earn guild, but from the onset, “EARN” has always been our focus. My co-founder Wesley and I were intrigued by how playing a game could let one “EARN”, and that was what got us started in the first place.
We knew at that point that the concept of work is being redefined, and immediately started putting systems and processes together, to enter the play-to-earn space.
Here’s what I shared in this interview with Kishor:
My background in TradFi and regulatory consulting, and my time spent in Dubai
My previous business in employee engagement events (now managed by my wife) and how that got me interested in the concept of “work”
Salad’s focus on the “earning” aspect of GameFi
The biggest problem with the world’s economy right now (hint: it’s not inflation)
What we’re doing at Salad to serve our community of over 200,000 people
GuildOS, Apollo Academy, Club Salad
Why we launched Club Salad NFT and how we intend to give holders value
Tips for founders who are currently raising their first round of capital
Is Salad a VC
Where to go to contact us and follow our progress
All the answers are in the 30 mins video below 👇🏻
On top of the written content that my team and I are pushing out, I also intend to start creating more video content to share what I’ve learnt in this space.
If you have some ideas for my upcoming videos, please let me know.
