Salad Ventures Celebrates Asia’s Crypto Week (TOKEN2049 & AFTER HOURS 2022)
The cryptocurrency industry continues to be bullish as evident by the overwhelming turnout for TOKEN2049, an IRL event held in its second edition since the COVID pandemic as well as the various after parties and side events.
We saw thousands flock to our home country, Singapore, from all corners of the globe to fully experience the sights, sounds, and connections during Asia Crypto Week and to catch the F1 race. With a record-breaking turnout, the team at Salad Ventures was not one to sit out on the festivities.
Salad @ TOKEN2049
Over the 28th and the 29th of September, we got to meet and greet some of the 7,000+ attendees, 2,000+ global companies, and 250+ sponsors gracing the TOKEN2049 event at the prestigious and iconic Marina Bay Sands.
From investors and launchpads to innovators, the team had the opportunity to share Salad’s vision with visitors to our booth as well as learn from some of the up-and-coming founders in the space.
Some notable projects that we connected with include (but are not limited to): Ruby Protocol, Layerc.io, MetaClash, Consensys, OKC, NEAR Foundation, Algorand, Liminal, and Ajuna Network.
Opening the doors to various opportunities to collaborate including:
Ecosystem development across new blockchains
Regional partnerships and collective growth
Integration potential and co-research
The atmosphere was properly bullish and exciting. Attendees were flanked by snaking queues, founders tending to visitors hungry for knowledge, a seemingly infinite supply of merchandise, and hundreds of Telegram messages filling our inboxes.
If you came down personally, you might have even gotten a chance to acquire limited edition Salad T-shirts by following us on social media.
After Hours 2022 presented by Salad Ventures x Inazuma Capital
Last Tuesday, on the 27th of September, Salad Ventures organized a pre-TOKEN2049 party at Level 71 — Skai Loft, Swissotel Singapore, for our advisors, investors, and partners who flew in to Singapore for the jam-packed week of conferences and side events.
The Club Salad team conceptualized After Hours 2022 to provide the global attendees of TOKEN2049 with a platform and opportunity to connect and network with our community and partners.
In addition to Salad Ventures’ list of investors, partners, advisors, and our Sponsors’ guests, the holders of the Club Salad Access Pass (Genesis Edition) were also invited for the evening.
The 200 holders of this collection will enjoy priority access to every event the team organizes for 2022, along with early updates to future Salad Ventures projects and more. Passes are minted at 0.25 ETH and will be transferable once minted out.
With overwhelming sign-ups for the party, up to 400 attendees joined us for this night to remember with exciting DJ acts by Sounds of Fai, Tony Schrieffer, Liz Asuka x Inazuma Capital, and MANIFEST x Jayefunk.
We are beyond honored to have hosted a power-packed VIP guest list of influential Web3 professionals at After Hours 2022 including:
Amber Chook from Inazuma Capital, Jason Kam from Folius Ventures, Tess Hau from Tess Ventures, Corey Wilton from Pegaxy, Miles Anthony from Decentral Games, Ciara Sun from C² Ventures, Santiago Roel Santos, Etiënne vantKruys from TRGC, Multicoin, Kosmos Ventures, Brevan Howard and more.
