When we started Salad Academy, our mission was simple: to educate and help the masses enter the Web 3.0 universe through GameFi & Play-to-Earn.
Over the course of 5 months, we managed to help over 50,000 students get started in GameFi through our courses. Over 100,000 certifications were awarded across 6 courses, so we realised that the Academy could be much bigger and better than we had anticipated.
Since then, our Vision has evolved. Our intent at Salad has always been to become a Web 3.0 ecosystem player, and encouraging mass adoption has always been part of the mission. Our Vision for the Academy is to become the education platform for all things Web 3.0; to curate, co-create and consolidate all resources in one place and bring it to the masses, straight from the projects themselves.
Taking advantage of the current bear market, our team has been hard at work conceptualising, researching and building over the last few months to revamp the Academy in order to make this Vision, a reality.
As such, we’re thrilled to announce the rebirth of Salad Academy as The Apollo Academy (@A2cademy).
There are several improvements to the new Academy that has been made;
We have expanded the curriculum to include all things Web 3.0 instead of just GameFi content.
Our content has expanded from just courses to include Seminars (20 minutes), Panel Discussions, and AMAs (recorded and put into a podcast). Moving forward, we also plan to include written content, interviews, as well as Project Introduction videos
Content is no longer exclusively created internally by Salad, but also contributed and/or co-created with Partners through our A2 Alpha Partners Program.
Branding & Positioning
Paying homage to our humble origins as a guild (The Apollo Squad), Salad Academy has decided to rebrand to The Apollo Academy.
As per the Apollo Space Program, we are working towards preparing our community, partners and team, and bringing them along on our Mission to the Moon.
Apollo Academy strives to be the Masterclass.com of Web 3.0, working with key opinion leaders and project leaders to create value-driven content. With so much information (or in certain cases, misinformation) about Crypto on the internet, we aim to differentiate ourselves by curating and putting together only the best quality information.
Our Mission at Apollo Academy is to onboard the next million Apollonauts to Web 3.0, through education.
At Apollo Academy, we seek to create an inclusive space to give different types of learners the tools they need to kickstart their Web3 journey. The platform offers a variety of mediums for students to pick from depending on their learning styles. We invite established KOLs and projects from around the world to share their knowledge and insights on the space, connecting them with millions of enthusiasts and students.
Our goal is to build a mini-ecosystem, where both Students and Partners can come together as a community and become mutually beneficial for all.
While our Apollonauts benefit from the alpha, knowledge and new opportunities, our A2 Alpha Partners benefit from a large consolidated audience across the Web 3.0 cosmos, as we tap on the combined community of all projects and partners we collaborate with.
We’re bringing together game changers, professionals and explorers together to exchange knowledge and skills to build a better ecosystem and learning experience for the masses.
